We are a small, high-end technology consulting firm in Central Square, Cambridge, MA with a very unique work environment. We strive for a relaxed, non-hierarchical yet highly productive work setting with flexible working hours. The vast majority of our clients are in the Boston metropolitan area, which means that working at Pod does not involve much travel.

.NET Software Engineer
Drupal/PHP Software Engineer
.NET Software Engineer
Pod Consulting is seeking .NET software engineers on either full-time or contract basis with the intent to convert to a full-time position. This position will be based in Central Square, Cambridge, MA.
Minimum Technical Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree and/or substantive experience in software development (at least 1-2 years of professional experience programming in .NET). Experience/desire to work in other technologies (such as Java, Python, PHP) is a plus
- Understanding of object-oriented design
- Experience with web application development
- Understanding of development methodologies and database development technologies
Responsibilities – In this role, you will:
- Successfully develop applications using the latest web technologies according to industry best practices
- Work alongside Pod's senior technical team to develop necessary technical architecture, to make key technology decisions, and to maintain the highest possible level of communication during the project development process to make individual projects successful
- Actively participate in the project planning process
- Stay apprised of the latest technologies and innovations in web application technologies (in general) and .NET (in particular)
Travel requirements: Travel outside the Boston metropolitan area is generally not expected in this role.

Drupal/PHP Software Engineer
Pod Consulting is seeking Drupal/PHP software engineers on either full-time or contract basis with the intent to convert to a full-time position. This position will be based in Central Square, Cambridge, MA.

- A Bachelor's degree and/or substantive experience in software development (at least 1-2 years of professional experience programming with Drupal or PHP). Experience with/desire to work in other technologies (such as .NET, Java, Python) is a definite plus
- Experience with web application development
- Understanding of development methodologies and database development technologies
